Facility Rentals

Thank you for interest in The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center – Atlanta for your upcoming training, conference, concert, wedding or birthday party.

Rental Guidelines

The Salvation Army is a religious, not-for-profit organization. The Renter will not conduct or allow any activity to take place that may damage the image or undermine the principles of The Salvation Army.

A 50% deposit must be paid in advance in order to reserve a facility rental. A facility rental cannot be scheduled without payment of the deposit;

The remaining balance is due (10) days prior to event. (Certificate of insurance will be required specifying the necessary limits for Salvation Army facility rentals).

Set up and break down time MUST BE COMPLETED within the allotted rental hours

Explanation

The Salvation Army ( TSA) insurance requirement (Certificate of Insurance) is mandatory for any event or rental that takes place at any TSA facility. The reason for this requirement is that it holds “The Salvation Army” harmless from any claims, demands, actions, lawsuits, or causes of action, including legal fees and other costs defending against loss, damage, and personal injury (including a death) arising from the use of our facility by members or invited guests.

      • A Certificate of Insurance will be required and it shall name “The Salvation Army” as an additional insured party. This Certificate of Insurance shall provide limits of not less than the following:
        • ($500,000.00) injury to any one person
        • ($500,000.00) total liability arising from any one incident
        • ($100,000.00) property damage

Consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or smoking on Salvation Army property is prohibited.

The Chapel is approximately 4500 square feet . There are currently 200 seats on the floor. Another thirty can be added if placed on the stage. The Chapel stage is approximately 70 feet across by 20 feet deep for a total of 1400 sq feet .

The Community Meeting room is approximately 2480 square feet . We have 19 round tables that will seat eight each. There are two hundred chairs total for that area. The Community Meeting Room can be split in half with a max of 80 per side.
