KROC CENTER POLICIES
Photo ID Policy
Any adult (18+) purchasing a membership, day pass or enrolling in a Kroc Community Center program will be required to show photo ID. The Kroc Community Center will use this information to consult public sources to help determine whether a guest may pose unreasonable harm to our patrons, staff or visitors. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy.
Family Membership Definition
One or two adults living in a household and dependents who are eligible up to the age of 17. An individual with a disability or an elderly parent who is financially dependent on and is living in the same household with the primary member will remain eligible for the Family membership. Verification of family status and residency may be required. For example: tax return, utility bill, health insurance, etc.
Cancellations
Membership fees are nonrefundable.
Inclement Weather Policy
The Atlanta Kroc Center will always put the safety of its members, program participants and staff first when decisions need to be made concerning inclement weather. When inclement weather poses a threat, the Kroc Center may adjust or cancel scheduled hours of operation, programs and/or special events.
Programs/Classes
Cancellation of classes and/or programs will not always be based upon local school cancellations. We will make an independent decision based on our assessment of the weather. If the Kroc Community Center chooses to cancel a program or class due to weather you may be given a prorated Kroc Community Center credit. No credits or pro-rated credits will be issued for missed days of camp, programs or class due to illness, partial attendance, behavior issues, or any other reason.
Facility Closings:
If the Kroc Center is closed, has a delayed opening or will be closing early, announcements will be made on our website, and social media sites.
Class and Program Cancellations
Full payment is required at the time of enrollment. No refunds are given unless the program is canceled by The Kroc Community Center. Attempts will be made by the Center to provide a prorated credit to take the class at a later date. No credits or pro-rated credits will be issued for missed days of camp or class due to illness, partial attendance, behavior issues, or any other reason.
Day Pass Policy
Day Passes are available for purchase for the public to access open areas of the Kroc Community Center. Cost is $5 for all ages. Day Pass users can leave the facility and return the same day the pass was purchased for no additional fee.
Additional activities such as drop-in classes, roster classes, events, etc may be subject to additional fees. Day Pass users pay public rates for all roster and drop in activities.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center reserves the right to remove from the facility any Day Pass user who fails to comply with any rules and regulations or otherwise breaches the terms of the Day Pass agreement, in which case Day Pass user will not be entitled to a refund of dues.
Group/Personal Coach Policy
Public drop-in access is intended for inclusive recreational use. Any external personal or group use/training/coaching should contact the rental department of specific group requests.
Personal Group/ Individual Coaching & Program Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a one-on-one session or any personal or group coaching session requires 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of any monies paid.
Financial Assistance/Scholarship Program
Individuals, families, and seniors who cannot afford Kroc Center membership or fees for programs (excluding personal training and private lessons) can apply for a discount. Eligibility for this program is based on income level. Scholarship applications are available online or at the Membership Services Desk.
Registered Sex Offender Policy
Applicants for membership, day pass users, program participants and anyone over the age of 18 entering The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center may be screened through public sex offender registries.
Actual knowledge of registered sex offender status may only be obtained through Salvation Army screening of these public registries, or through private disclosure made through the membership, day pass or program application.
Regardless of the source, when The Salvation Army has actual knowledge of registered sex offender status of anyone who enters/or has entered the individual will be removed from the Kroc Community Center and denied future access.
